connection with the theft of an uncompleted deed from the

Land Office which was subsequently forged with the result

that a large sum of money was fraudulently obtained by

means of it. This matter formed the subject of a criminal

prosecution in which Mr. Bowley instructed the Attorney-

after full consideration with the Attorney-General, come

to the conclusion that the best arrangement is to allow

Messrs. Dennys and Bowley to continue to act as crown

Solicitors until the 31st. August next on the same terms
